How to book the cheapest flights in Nepal

A home to majestic landscapes, majority of monuments listed in the World Heritage Site by UNESCO, rich culture that seems to vary with every step you take, yes, it’s Nepal. Tourism is ever flourishing in Nepal, whether it is domestic or international. The past year witnessed the rise of number of passengers travelling via domestic flights from 1,364,048 in 2015 to a whopping 1,757,596 in 2016. This growth was primarily driven by rising per capita income which has resulted from growing working population. Also, the tourism industry which fell last year quickly picked up pace in 2016.
With variety of airlines already dominating the domestic market, it is no secret that we, Nepalese prefer low prices when it comes to travelling.

Based on the database we have, and a little research here and there, we have come up with a few hacks to book the cheapest flights with us.
1. Leave on a Wednesday

Studies have shown that it’s the most inexpensive day to travel. As per the study, "The day with the most seats is likely to have better supply, and thus ... more empty seats that require discounting to fill the plane—meaning they'll have to release more seats at their cheapest price point."
2. Time of Booking

Book your tickets on a Tuesday at 3 p.m. Studies have found that it’s the best time to buy domestic flight tickets.
3. First flight indeed
The first flight times might be the most inconvenient but they are the cheapest too. The early risers and the late sleepers stand to gain in this respect.
So the next time you set an early alarm for that early flight, know that ‘Time is Money’. *wink*

5. Book Six weeks prior to travel
